Solo Career is the home recording project of Annabel Blackman. The first Solo Career show was in 2018 and started off a process of using performance as motivation to write and finish new songs. Solo Career’s EP, ‘The Sentimentalist’, was very slowly compiled, rejected, refined and completed in between working as an architect and playing in the rock quartet Body Type.

This music was produced on the land of the Dharawal and Gadigal people of the Eora nation, the traditional owners of the land. I pay my respect to elders past, present and emerging.
